In this episode of the Because You're Incredible Podcast, I talk with Floyd Carbins, a Supervisor with the Office of Community Care with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Floyd has a background in the military, has his certificate of corrective exercise from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, has worked on foot health at NeoVita Foot Comfort Center, worked hand in hand with other health professionals at Accident Injury and Chiropractic before working back into the military with the Department of Defense, and earning his Masters in Healthcare Administration which landed him in his current position. Floyd shares his experience with rehab and his approach to slow and steady long-lived progress. He emphasizes the importance to him of taking a conservative approach so that you are pushing yourself to but not past your limits. We speak on the benefits of integrated health and using many different types of modalities to maintain optimal health as long as possible. He also emphasizes the importance of continuing to educate yourself and being open to trying things that are individualized, new, exciting and different.
