With the holidays around the corner we know that things get busy. We have so much to do and so little time to do it. So this month we are going to make sure we are taking care of ourselves during this time. You've probably heard the analogy before that you need to fill your cup in order to be able to pour into the cups of others. We want to make sure we are doing something for ourselves to re-energize ourselves, the things that make you feel good and that you know are going to help you in the long run. This doesn't necessarily mean splurging or binging but sometimes it can include things that you enjoy and love to do while at other times it may be things you know you need, even if it is not currently what you want. Ask yourself: what do I need today to be myself so I can do everything I want to do and be able to give to others. What can I do today to fill my cup?

In the macro view of the world, my cup truly runeth over. It's the result of hard work and good fortune. For that I'm very grateful. Looking more at the day to day, and especially as I get older, the tea leaves at the bottom of the cup seem to come into view way more frequently. Finding ways to a more bottomless cup will be a good and hopefully fun challenge.
