Over the last few months we have been talking about creating good daily habits that will compound together to create long lasting change. Sometimes as we are continuing to push and grow we blow past the experience of getting where we want to go. We forget to stop and smell the roses. So this month we are focusing on taking the time to acknowledge not only our accomplishments but also our progress. Remembering that change, whether it seems good or bad, means progress. It means another situation we can learn and grow from.
Our challenge for this month is to write down at least one example every day of something you made progress on that will help get you closer to who you want to be in the future. It can be small, and remember that these small changes add up; every decision you make that is in line with your goals and values can create monumental change when compounded on top of one another. Maybe you decide to wake up early and be productive, maybe you add vegetables to one of your meals, or do a little bit of that project you've been putting off. Our second piece is to write down something you are proud of every day. Did you put 100% effort into your workout today? Did you handle a situation better than you expected to? Are you proud of how you treated someone or did you influence them in a positive way? These are the things we want to celebrate. Even though it may not seem like the end goal, they are the steps that are going to get us where we want to be.
Please feel free to send in your examples or let me know if you have any questions about how you can implement this into your day to day life. Thank you!
